Frequently asked questions

Answers before the call. Anything not here — ask on WhatsApp.

Do I need a local partner?

In many activities, no: a foreign investor can own 100% through an investment licence. In Saudi Arabia this is the MISA investment licence; in Qatar it depends on the route. We confirm ownership eligibility for your specific activity at the first consultation.

Do I have to fly?

For most steps, no. A notarised power of attorney authorises our team to sign documents, submit applications and follow up on your behalf. We tell you exactly when your physical presence is required — it is rarer than most people expect.

How long does it take?

It depends on the entity type, activity and the speed of your document preparation. A well-prepared file moves faster. After the first call you receive a realistic timeline for your specific situation. Missing or incorrect documents restart the clock.

How much does it cost?

Government fees vary by entity, capital, activity and licences. Our service fee is quoted in writing before any work starts. We never ask you to commit without a clear cost breakdown.

Can you open the bank account?

Yes, we prepare the corporate banking file and follow up with the bank until the account is active. This is often the hardest step after registration; having an experienced team helps.

Can my family come with me?

Yes. Family residency covers your spouse and children. We manage the applications once your own investor or general manager residency is approved.

Who will I deal with?

An English-speaking manager at Nwafiz Services UK, backed by our teams in Riyadh and Doha. One point of contact from first call to trading company.

What is a power of attorney?

A legal document authorising a named person to act on your behalf. It is notarised in the UK, then apostilled and legalised before it is used in the Gulf. We guide you through the whole process.

What is document attestation?

Gulf authorities require UK documents (degree certificates, marriage certificates, company documents) to be apostilled and in some cases legalised by the relevant Gulf embassy before they are accepted. We coordinate this in the UK before anything is filed abroad.

Do you handle compliance after setup?

Yes. Annual licence renewals, tax and zakat filings, payroll compliance (Nitaqat/Saudization in Saudi Arabia), visa renewals and ongoing government relations. We stay as your Gulf compliance partner.
